    ACT and Control Surfaces
SONAR 2.0 introduced bi-directional support for hardware control surfaces, and other Cakewalk products may support control surfaces in the future.

SONAR 6.0 introduced and integrated ACT technology into our Control Surface support, which lets a control surface "follow" a user as he navigates around SONAR and in and out of plug-ins.

If you are a control surface developer and would like SONAR to support your hardware device, a Software Development Kit (SDK) is available. Updated 10/5/2006

    sfz File Format Specification
rgc:audio has developed the sfz file format that is used in rgc:audio and Cakewalk instruments. If you are a sound designer and would like information about this file format, please follow this link for a full description.
