What do I need to know before I install the VST Adapter patch?
To install the VST Adapter 4.5.1 patch, you Must have VST Adapter version 4.3.0, 4.3.1, 4.4.0, 4.4.1 or 4.4.2 installed on your system.
SONAR 3 users should update to SONAR 3.1.1 first.
Includes enhancements and bug fixes for the following issue:
- NRPN messages were not sent directly to VSTi's even if the 'Do not intercept NRPNs" options was enabled.
- Some plug-in GUI's would take a few seconds to open
- Some plugin-ins would take a few seconds to insert in a track FX bin
- Virtual Guitarist VST sample were not always loaded when choosing a preset; sometimes samples would load correctly after staring playback
- Changing the default folder setting would cause VST plug-ins to be re-scanned.
- Envelope jump shapes were not rendered properly when sent to VST's
- Removed plug-ins were still left registered
- folder defaults was not fully functional
- Scanning is now more efficient
- Integrated Cakewalk Plug-in Manager
- Various other minor bug fixes
