It can be unclear which output is active in the stand-alone versions of Studio Instruments

The information in this article applies to:

In some cases, when using an audio card with multiple outputs, more than one can appear selected. This problem occurs because of the way the audio card reports it's available channels to the instrument.

The outputs are typically listed in order as stereo pairs. The one most recently chosen output will receive the instrument's sound.

This issue is more common to Windows Vista than other operating systems.
