Warning when busses have no output
|
The information in this article applies to:
- SONAR 8.3 Producer Edition
- SONAR 8.3 Studio Edition
A new feature was introduced in SONAR 8.3 that presents a dialog box when a bus has no output or would be silent. This dialog can be disabled by a variable introduced in the Cakewalk.ini file. The variable, WarnSilentBuses goes in the [WinCake] section and has a default setting of "1" (On). Changing this to "0" will disable the silent bus warning dialog.
To change the variable:
- Click Options | Initialization File
- In the Option field type: WarnSilentBuses
- In the Value field type either "1" or "0" for the desired behavior
- Click Set and then Close
