SONAR V-Studio 100 Getting Started Errata

Please review the following changes and additions to the "SONAR V-Studio 100 Getting Started" guide.
  • Page 19, "To Install SONAR"


To Install SONAR
  1. Start your computer.
  2. Close any open programs that are running.
  3. Place the SONAR V-Studio 100 Installation DVD-ROM into your disc drive.
  4. The "VS Production Pack" AutoRun will appear if you have AutoRun enabled. Click the Cancel button to close the VS Production Pack installer.
  5. Right-click on "My Computer" from the desktop or the Start menu on the Windows task bar and select "Explore".
  6. Right-click the DVD/ROM drive labeled "VS-100 DVD" and select "Explore".
  7. Double-click on the "SONAR VS" folder to open it.
  8. Double-click on "Setup.exe" to launch the SONAR VS installer.
  9. Follow the installation instructions on the screen.
IMPORTANT: When the SONAR VS installer has finished, you must continue on to the next section "To Install the VS Production Pack" in order to install the VS-100 Control Surface plug-in.


To Install the VS Production Pack
  1. Start your computer.
  2. Close any open programs that are running.
  3. Place the SONAR V-Studio 100 Installation DVD-ROM into your disc drive.
  4. The "VS Production Pack" AutoRun will appear if you have AutoRun enabled. Click the Cancel button to close the VS Production Pack installer.
  5. Right-click on "My Computer" from the desktop or the Start menu on the Windows task bar and select "Explore".
  6. Right-click the DVD/ROM drive labeled "VS-100 DVD" and select "Explore".
  7. Double-click on "VS_Production_Pack_Setup.exe" to launch the VS Production Pack installer.
  8. Follow the installation instructions on the screen.
IMPORTANT (SONAR VS users): On the Select Components screen, make sure to select to install the "VS-100 Control Surface plugin".
